Oh. Hell. To. The. Naw.

Don’t tell someone that they aren’t depressed because they’re “just a teenager”. Teenagers get depressed just as much as older people, it’s just that society downplays teenage depression so much that it is simply overlooked. If we took teenage depression more seriously as a society, then perhaps people wouldn’t resort to saying, “You’re a teenager so you can’t be depressed, you’re merely sad so get over it because that’s part of being a teenager”.
